While these two teams just had a long four game series to begin last week, they meet again to start this week. In those four games, we saw very close baseball. Yes, they were higher scoring than I expect this one to be, but that's also because of the ballpark. Tampa's stadium (Tropicana Field) is a lot more pitcher friendly than Fenway in Boston. I believe that this series will feature lower scoring contests. 

In today's matchup, we will see Tanner Houck (3-5, 2.17 ERA) and Taj Bradley (1-1, 2.46 ERA) go head to head. Houck's record does not show what he's been doing this season. He's been stellar and that's why he owns one of the best ERA's in the American League right now. For Bradley, he's only had two starts. His small sample size is what I expect him to look like all season. He's a very talented young arm who's looking for a much improved second year this season. 

Neither team is putting up all that many runs this season so far either. The pitching has been great and we don't have much fire power between these two. Having said that, I believe that the "under" is the play here before this line goes any lower. This is my AL TOTAL OF THE MONTH on the "under" in BOS/TB on Monday.
